Our Fisheries

The diversity of our fisheries surrounding the Asheville, North Carolina area is enough to keep any angler satisfied for a lifetime.

There are literally thousands of miles of trout streams and smallmouth bass rivers at our fingertips. For world-class rainbow trout and brown trout fishing the Watauga River, South Holston River, and the Tuckaseegee River provide without a doubt some of the finest tailwater trout fishing in the country. These are dam controlled rivers providing clean, clear, and consistant flows of water YEAR-ROUND. This not only benefits our guide service, but more importantly the trout and the aquatic life thrive in these rivers.

The French Broad River and the Nolichucky River are two amazing resources we have for both impressive scenery and impressive smallmouth bass fishing. Both rivers are unique and provide some of the greatest river smallmouth habitat imaginabl e. There are an abundance of crawfish and hellgramites combined with a multitude of small bait fish which help keep our smallmouth bass populations healthy and strong. We offer float trips on the French Broad River and Nolichucky River from March-October, but will always make an exception for any hard-core smallmouth bass finatics.
