Whether we're casting Sulpher dry flies to big brown trout on the South Holston Tailwater or going for the 100 fish day on the Trophy Trout Section of the Watauga River, it'll be float fishing that will rival most western trout rivers. If it's the rod-ripping smallmouth bass you wish to pursue, the French Broad River and Nolichucky River provide world-class opportunities for the drifting flycaster. Both the French Broad and Nolichucky also hold good numbers of the elusive muskie; the Tuckaseegee River provides us great opportunities for winter trout fishing.

Not only will the fishing be splendid, the scenery will also impress you. Just about every stretch of river that we float takes us into some beautiful places that are accessible only by boat. A typical float fishing trip begins around 6:00am at the shop with a fresh cup of coffee. Then a ride in one of our SUV's to the river of choice for a day of nonstop, float fishing action - stopping only on a desirable beach for a gourmet, hot, streamside lunch. In a day's float trip we normally cover 6 to 10 miles of river. With the truck waiting at the take-out and a comfortable ride back to Asheville, we'll conclude an excellent day of tight lines and good friendship.
