Asheville, North Carolina is our hub, providing us year round, world-class sportfishing opportunities in every direction. What People are Saying

“We had a great time”

“We had a great time. I very much appreciate the time you spent with Cy. I too have really enjoyed the exposure to fly fishing, but for him it is a true passion. However, through him, I believe I understand why many make it a lifetime passion.  Again, many thanks for your services. I know we have much to learn, but at this point have been exposed to what a great sport it is. I look forward to seeing you next year.”

– Paul C. Young, Newnan, GA

“True Professional”

“I want to thank you, not only for your expertise, but also for your patience – especially with me. You are a true professional, one who is quite proficient at what he does, and one who is able to transmit his love and knowledge of his profession to others.”

– George Ports, Raleigh, NC

“Another successful experience”

“Thanks again for showing us a great day of fishing. Although the conditions were not favorable on the Watauga, your knowledge of the area and dedication to providing a quality trip is greatly appreciated by taking us to the Holston River. Everyone had a great time and are still talking about the trip. I learned a gret deal about the river that will help me in the future as well. I look forward to seeing you in July with my Dad.”

– Bill Wood, Charlotte, NC

” I just want to say how awesome you were to us today. Thank you so much for such a great day’s fishing. We rolled home around 6:00 pm, burnt, tired, sore and two of the happiest fishermen you’ve ever seen. The whole day was wonderful. We’ll be telling the tales of today’s adventure around many a campfire. I hope our stories drum up business for you for you sure deserve it. I apologize for such a meager tip. You are worth much, much more, but alas our ass is poor. Just thought I’d let you know, I’m sending all my friends to Asheville Drifters. Look forward to fishing with you again in September. Always let fish control your mind – your new friends,”

– Jay and Colter Ward, Bryson City, NC
